Every token will represent every decade of Wimbledon’s existence.
Binance, the world’s most prominent crypto exchange, enters a partnership with Splyt, known as “super app enabler.” What is the aim of this project? To add crypto payment capabilities to the Binance app. Once implemented, this initiative will enable Binance end-users to pay for ride hailing services alongside ‘bike sharing, scooters, airport transfers, public transport and even food delivery.’
In Brazil, a potentially far-reaching proposal is put forward. This bill intends to add BTC and some other digital assets as a payment option. It is noteworthy that this bill, if passed, will turn crypto into legal tender in this South American country. However, it will make it possible to use this asset class as a ‘a financial asset for various purposes’.
In spite of the growing uncertainty, the Binance team seems to be confident about the future of crypto. At least, this is what their recent announcement suggests. The crypto exchange is going to hire 2,000 new employees. As mass media report, at least some of those openings related to the Binance offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
As NewsBTC points out, the blockchain-based gaming industry, aka GameFi, is on the rise. So far, this sector has already attracted $22,5 in investments. New projects are launched almost daily. As of May 2022, there are as many as over 1400 FameFi projects, ‘representing a 99% yearly increase.’ At least some of them are expected to boost the web3 adoption process in the industry and get us closer to a web3 world.
