Market sentiment changed just as quickly. Long-term yields initially fell and the dollar weakened, helping Bitcoin move higher. A large short squeeze added momentum as rising prices forced bearish positions to close.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <div class=\"ecl-cmc-widget\">\n    <script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/files.coinmarketcap.com\/static\/widget\/currency.js\"><\/script><div class=\"coinmarketcap-currency-widget\" data-currencyid=\"1\" data-base=\"USD\" data-secondary=\"\" data-ticker=\"true\" data-rank=\"true\" data-marketcap=\"true\" data-volume=\"true\" data-statsticker=\"true\" data-stats=\"USD\"><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <p>\n    Demand continued after the initial squeeze. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kucoin.com\/news\/flash\/u-s-spot-bitcoin-etfs-attract-2-8-billion-in-eight-consecutive-days\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>eight consecutive sessions of net inflows<\/strong><\/a><strong> from August 17 through August 26<\/strong>, totaling about <strong>$2.8 billion<\/strong>. That sustained buying helped Bitcoin hold around the $80,000 area after the first breakout and showed that the move was attracting fresh capital beyond forced liquidations.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"clarity-act-moves-closer-to-a-senate-vote\">\n  <h2>CLARITY Act Moves Closer to a Senate Vote<\/h2>\n\n  <p>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kucoin.com\/news\/flash\/clarity-act-moves-toward-senate-vote-in-september\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The CLARITY Act took another step forward<\/a> in August after Senate Majority Leader John Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed with the bill. The procedural vote is scheduled for <strong>September 15<\/strong> and would require 60 votes to advance the legislation to debate. The audited figures showed Tether\u2019s reserves exceeding liabilities by approximately <strong>$6.8 billion at the end of 2025<\/strong>.
