It\u2019s been a while with <strong>Evercode Lab Monthly Crypto News Digest<\/strong>, but we are thrilled to get back to you with the latest updates from across the crypto market!\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p class=\"ecl-ai-lead\">\n    In this edition, we&#8217;re looking at some of the biggest crypto developments from July, including Ethereum&#8217;s strong performance, the continued growth of RWA tokenization, MiCA&#8217;s latest regulatory milestone, and major investments in Web3 infrastructure.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p class=\"ecl-ai-lead\">\n    And before we dive in, a quick friendly reminder: at <strong>Evercode Lab<\/strong>, we build white-label crypto wallets, exchanges, asset management platforms, and other Web3 products that help businesses bring new ideas to market faster.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"ethereum-outpaces-bitcoin-as-etf-flows-return\">\n  <h2>Ethereum Outpaces Bitcoin as ETF Flows Return<\/h2>\n\n  <p class=\"ecl-ai-highlight\">\n    <strong>Ether<\/strong> rose by <strong>around 11%<\/strong> over seven trading sessions by July 16, while Bitcoin gained <strong>approximately 4.2%<\/strong> over the same period.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <figure class=\"ecl-ai-figure\">\n    <img decoding=\"async\"\n      src=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/_next\/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.sanity.io%2Fimages%2Fs3y3vcno%2Fproduction%2Fc357579ddef2051b405b9e89f8525dd02709081d-5760x3240.jpg%3Fauto%3Dformat&#038;w=3840&#038;q=75\"\n      alt=\"Ethereum outpaces Bitcoin as ETF flows return\"\n    >\n<figcaption>\n  Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2026\/07\/16\/ether-outruns-bitcoin-as-etf-money-returns-almost-all-of-from-blackrock-s-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CoinDesk<\/a>\n<\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n\n  <p>\n    US spot Ether ETFs recorded about $96 million in net inflows during July 13-15, exceeding the $84 million collected throughout the previous week. Most of the money was concentrated in <strong>BlackRock\u2019s products<\/strong> \u2013 ETHA received $45.3 million and ETHB $4 million on July 15.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2026\/07\/16\/ether-outruns-bitcoin-as-etf-money-returns-almost-all-of-from-blackrock-s-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CoinDesk<\/a> identified <strong>ETF demand<\/strong> as one of two factors supporting ETH. ETF demand was an important driver, but it wasn&#8217;t the only one. CoinDesk also pointed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2026\/07\/25\/robinhood-chain-s-real-world-assets-jump-fivefold-as-tokenized-stocks-start-trading-in-bigger-size\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">growing activity on <strong>Robinhood Chain<\/strong><\/a>, where ETH is used for gas fees.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"micas-final-transition-period-ends-in-europe\">\n  <h2>MiCA\u2019s Final Transition Period Ends in Europe<\/h2>\n\n  <p>\n    Europe reached <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/06\/30\/europe-is-rewriting-its-landmark-crypto-rulebook-mica-as-hard-july-1-deadline-passes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">an important MiCA deadline on July 1, 2026<\/a>. MiCA itself <strong>was already fully applicable from December 30, 2024<\/strong>, but some companies that had previously operated under national rules were given additional time to obtain authorization.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    That transition period has now ended. <strong>ESMA<\/strong> said crypto service providers without the required authorization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.micacryptoalliance.com\/news\/the-mica-deadline-arrives-esma-draws-a-line-and-a-major-exchange-tests-it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">should stop accepting new EU clients<\/a>, end marketing activities, and begin an orderly wind-down of their services.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    The new regulatory framework is already reshaping the European crypto market. On July 6, Ripple announced that it had received a full Crypto Asset Service Provider license from Luxembourg\u2019s CSSF, allowing it to provide regulated crypto services across the European Economic Area.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    For businesses, MiCA creates a more consistent European framework, but it also makes licensing, custody, AML controls, and customer protection essential parts of product development.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"rwa-tokenization-expands-into-traditional-markets\">\n  <h2>RWA Tokenization Expands Into Traditional Markets<\/h2>\n\n  <p>\n    The <strong>real-world asset tokenization<\/strong> (RWA) market continued to grow in July.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.originbrief.app\/en\/reports\/crypto-web3\/2026-07-13\/weekly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OriginBrief<\/a>, citing DefiLlama data from July 11, the sector included <strong>around $26.9 billion in active assets<\/strong> and <strong>$29.1 billion in on-chain market capitalization<\/strong> across 181 issuers.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    Another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2026\/07\/08\/dinari-tzero-join-forces-on-turnkey-platform-for-tokenized-u-s-equities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">notable development<\/a> was the partnership between Dinari and tZERO, aimed to help broker-dealers offer tokenized US equities. The framework combines Dinari\u2019s dShares technology with tZERO\u2019s regulated brokerage, custody, clearing, settlement, and shareholder services.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    The partnership reflects the <strong>growing maturity<\/strong> of the RWA market. Tokenization is becoming less about simply representing assets on a blockchain and more about building reliable infrastructure that allows regulated financial products to be issued, held, and traded on-chain.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"investment-in-web3-infrastructure-continues\">\n  <h2>Investment in Web3 Infrastructure Continues<\/h2>\n\n  <p>\n    On July 7, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/edx-markets-closes-76-million-series-c-funding-round-led-by-sbi-holdings-to-enhance-institutional-digital-asset-infrastructure-302819428.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EDX Markets announced<\/a> a <strong>$76 million Series C round<\/strong> led by Japanese financial group <strong>SBI Holdings<\/strong>. EDX operates an institution-only digital asset marketplace together with a central clearinghouse.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    The company plans to use the funding to expand its trading, clearing, and settlement services, develop new products, and grow internationally. EDX has also <a href=\"https:\/\/edxmarkets.com\/edx-markets-files-occ-application-to-establish-trust-bank-delivering-regulated-custody-and-settlement-infrastructure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">applied to establish EDX Trust<\/a>, a proposed US national trust bank focused on digital asset custody, settlement, clearing, and risk management.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    <strong>Vanguard<\/strong> is also expanding its digital asset capabilities and its digital asset expertise. The asset manager recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2026\/07\/07\/vanguard-opens-search-for-digital-assets-leader-in-sign-of-evolving-crypto-strategy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">advertised for a Head of Digital Assets<\/a> to lead its work across tokenization, stablecoins, wallets, custody, and blockchain-based settlement.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    These developments show that established financial companies are continuing to explore how blockchain technology can support trading, payments, custody, and other financial services.\n  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"ecl-ai-section\" id=\"citadel-securities-invests-400-million-in-crypto-com\">\n  <h2>Citadel Securities Invests $400 Million in Crypto.com<\/h2>\n\n  <p>\n    <strong>Citadel Securities<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/crypto.com\/en-de\/company-news\/cryptocom-announces-400-million-strategic-investment-from-citadel-securities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">made one of the week\u2019s largest crypto investments<\/a>, committing <strong>$400 million to Crypto.com<\/strong>.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <p>\n    The deal valued Crypto.com <strong>at $20 billion<\/strong> and marked the exchange\u2019s first institutional funding round since it was founded ten years ago.
