It introduces punishment for crypto-fraud, as well as the need to obtain licenses for companies working in the crypto industry. Now the law only needs to pass the president&#8217;s signature. The Securities Commission and the Central Bank of Brazil will tentatively deal with the regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Domino effect: \u00a0BlockFi files for bankruptcy\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cryptocurrency lender BlockFi<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2022\/nov\/28\/crypto-lender-blockfi-files-for-bankruptcy-after-ftx-collapse\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> filed for Chapter 11 <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bankruptcy in the United States.
